To get answers she turns to some familiar faces from the John Wick world. We see Winston Scott played by Ian McShane and Charon played by the late Lance Reddick both back to help Eve out. Keanu Reeves himself said that Ballerina takes place in the John Wick timeline between chapters 3 and 4. He mentioned it was great to play John Wick again and explore more of that world.
