Eagle-Eyed Fans Discover a Funny Cameraman Blunder in a Key Dinner Scene of Titanic Movie
a super fan named Raf Avila known as Titanic Guy Raf Avila online showed everyone this mistake in a short video on TikTok. He asked his many followers if they had ever noticed it before. The famous 1997 film is all about Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater 's love story. They come from different worlds but fall for each other on the RMS Titanic during its sad last trip.
In Raf's video he points to a scene where Jack played by Leonardo DiCaprio is walking through a glass door to go eat dinner. But here's the funny part when a crew member opens the door for him you can see a camera person in the glass reflection. It totally breaks the feeling that you are seeing things from Jack's point of view.
Raf says in his video "We all know the scene when Jack is getting ready to go to dinner. Now I want you to really look at the door and see if you notice anything . Jack is walking to the grand staircase but did you see it? You can clearly spot a camera man right there in the window for everyone to see. Did you ever see that before? You will now for sure."
People watching his video started commenting. One person said they always look for these kinds of errors in reflections. Another person was surprised and asked how Raf even saw it. Someone else joked that Jack made a mistake. But another person said it's almost impossible to avoid such things when filming. One more person who watches Titanic a lot said they had never seen any mistakes before.
Titanic's Iconic Bow Is Crumbling Away Under the Sea After More Than a Century
Underwater robots explored the almost 113-year-old shipwreck last summer. They found out that the famous bow of the ship is falling apart because of decay. This bow is super famous from the 1997 movie where Jack and Rose have their iconic scene. But now a big part of it is on the ocean floor and it's disappearing more and more as time passes.
The Titanic sank when it hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic on April 15 1912. Over 1500 people passengers and crew died. Tomasina Ray who is in charge of collections at RMS Titanic Inc the company that did the underwater trip explained "The bow of Titanic is just so well-known. You see it in movies and photos and that's what you picture when you think of the shipwreck. But it doesn't look like that anymore."
She also added "It's just another reminder that it's getting worse every day. People always ask 'How much longer will the Titanic be there?' We really don't know but we are seeing it change right now."
