Okay let's start with the biggest bomb drop of all. Remember when Robert Downey Jr. said bye to Iron Man in Endgame and we all cried a river? Well guess what? He's BACK in the MCU but not as Tony Stark. Prepare yourselves... RDJ is officially playing Doctor Doom! Yeah you heard that right. Tony Stark himself is becoming one of Marvel's most iconic villains. Mind. Blown.
This huge reveal happened last year and fans are still buzzing about it. RDJ's Doom is going to be the big bad in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. Can you even imagine Iron Man himself as Doctor Doom? It's kinda genius and kinda terrifying all at once.

Invisible Woman Gets Her Due: Marvel Comics Celebrates Sue Storm in 2025
While Doom is plotting world domination Marvel is also giving some love to the Fantastic Four in the comics. Specifically they are shining a spotlight on the often-underestimated powerhouse of the team: Invisible Woman. Sue Storm is finally getting her moment to shine and it's about time.
Marvel is releasing a series of "INVISIBLE! VARIANT COVERS" in March 2025. These covers are gorgeous and they highlight Sue's incredible powers – not just invisibility but those amazing force fields too. Top artists are showing her off battling alongside other heroes and generally being a total badass.

Mondo's Doctor Doom Figure: Villainy Just Got Collectible (and Pricey!)
Want to add some Doom to your shelf? Mondo has you covered (if you have deep pockets). They are releasing a seriously cool Doctor Doom Soft Vinyl figure as part of their Marvel line. This thing is 10 inches tall and features Doom in his classic armor. Plus it comes with awesome accessories like a Thanos skull and blaster.
The figure will set you back $175. Ouch. But hey it looks amazing. Mondo is also releasing a screenprint of the cover of Fantastic Four #23 by Jack Kirby for $80 if you want some classic comic art to go with your Doom figure.
Comic Book Doom: Even HE Bows Down (But Maybe Not Really?)
Even in the comics Doctor Doom is making waves. In the upcoming Infinity Watch #3 issue we see something truly shocking: Doctor Doom bowing before another villain! Yes Doom who famously "bows before no one" is on his KNEES. The villain he's bowing to is Avery Zavala a multiversal baddie who is apparently universe-destroying level powerful.
Now there's a twist. This isn't actually our Doctor Doom. It's a copy from a pocket dimension. But still the fact that even a fake Doom is showing this kind of respect to Zavala hints at how big a threat this new villain is. And it's probably only a matter of time before the REAL Doctor Doom gets involved in this storyline. Things are about to get even crazier in Marvel Comics and that’s saying something.
