Who was once involved with one of the largest narcos, then now transition's her to " Emilia Perez 's" character, and her desire to exit life as her once masculine presence, so she seeks a major new transition to redeem herself in society.The controversial role will be that by all aspects this should not be a fit based on her past choices that include violence, corruption, and drug involvement.

Some of the key elements which made this unique for better or for worse will follow: there was mention of non-mexican actor's playing the main role which added more discourse. Along with this there was some questioning around the approach in the plot relating to some of Mexico’s cultural aspects.
