Heirloom Alert: Kim K Planning to Gift Iconic Kanye Engagement Ring to Daughter North

In a recent episode of The Kardashians Kim and Khloé were chatting about jewelry as you do when you are a Kardashian and Kim casually mentioned she knows exactly what is happening to her first engagement ring from Kanye. Drumroll please... she is giving it to North! Yes her eldest daughter North West is set to inherit this major piece of bling.

Kim explained that the cushion-cut diamond ring is extra special because it was her first engagement ring from Kanye. It also has sentimental value because it's the one piece she didn't have stolen during that awful Paris robbery back in 2016. She even remembers North being a baby when Kanye proposed and North holding the ring afterward. Talk about a precious keepsake!

Kim shared a funny anecdote about Kanye being super protective of her jewelry even back then. Apparently she wore both her engagement rings at once in an Instagram video and Kanye was not thrilled. He told her "Don’t you ever wear both of your rings at the same time. Are you looking to get robbed?” Turns out he had a point because sadly a few months later Kim was indeed robbed in Paris and lost millions in jewelry including her second HUGE 20-carat emerald-cut engagement ring from Kanye.

Kim mentioned that the first cushion-cut ring the one she is giving to North was the "most important" one to her maybe because it was the original symbol of their relationship and the one North has a baby memory attached to. The stolen 20-carat ring though? Probably gone for good with authorities believing it was broken down and sold off.

Kim revealed that Kris only "contributed a fifth" of the cost of the 18-carat emerald-cut Lorraine Schwartz ring. Despite basically buying it herself she had to hand it over to finalize the divorce. Savage move Kris savage move. Jeweler Lorraine Schwartz who happened to be with Kim and Khloé during this ring convo said Kim did the right thing getting rid of it but also joked she "would’ve loved a collection" of all Kim's rings. Who wouldn't right?
