Red Carpet Beauty Winners: Neutral Glam Reigns Supreme But Classic Red Lips Still Steal the Show
Okay fashion lovers the red carpet was absolutely overflowing with amazing looks. But what were the big beauty trends? This year it seemed like "less is more" was the motto for many stars with Neutral glam being a major moment. Coco Jones Ariana Grande and Fernanda Torres all rocked this vibe and proved you don't need a ton of makeup to look absolutely radiant.
Ariana Grande channeled her Wicked character Glinda with shimmery eyes a soft nude lip and bronzed cheeks. Her signature slicked-back bun completed the ethereal look. Coco Jones was glowing with natural skin rosy lips and soft waves. Fernanda Torres also opted for a fresh face with pink lips and simply lined eyes pairing it with a chic curly bob.
But hold up for the classics! June Squibb at 95 years young proved that a red lip is truly timeless. She sported a bold siren red lip that was just fantastic. And speaking of red the amazing Cynthia Erivo who stars in Wicked rocked a classic red lip too perfectly matching her red gown. She finished her look with a super elegant top knot. Basically red lips are still IT and age is just a number when it comes to killer beauty.
Tennis superstar Venus Williams looked incredible with bronzed skin a brown lip and an elegant updo with face-framing curls. And Elle Fanning went full princess with a gorgeous updo pink cheeks and classic black liner. But honestly the real accessory for everyone? Their smiles. Hollywood knows how to bring the glam!

'Wicked' Takes the Stage: Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Bring Musical Magic to the Oscars

Music lovers rejoice! The 2025 Oscars got a dose of "Wicked" magic thanks to performances by stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The Academy decided to do things a bit differently this year. Instead of just having the Best Song nominees perform they had a lineup of performers "celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends".
While the Academy kept tight-lipped about what exactly Ariana and Cynthia performed it was a big deal to have the stars of the nominated film Wicked take the stage. And get this if Cynthia Erivo wins Best Actress for her role in Wicked she will achieve EGOT status! That is Emmy Grammy Oscar and Tony Award winner putting her in a super exclusive club of artists.
Wicked was a big winner in nominations this year scoring 10 nods including Best Picture Original Score and a bunch of technical awards. Having Ariana and Cynthia perform just added to the buzz around the film and the Oscars Ceremony .
Predictions and Surprises: Who Took Home the Gold and Were There Any Upsets?

Everyone loves Oscar predictions and this year was no different. Film critic Peter Travers shared his predictions before the show. He thought The Brutalist SHOULD win Best Picture but predicted Conclave would actually take home the award beating out Anora. For acting categories Travers predicted Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña for Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively.
Of course the Oscars are always full of surprises so we will have to see how accurate the predictions were and who actually went home with those golden statues!
