Seriously Conquest is not playing around. In the clip for Episode 8 he's standing over a beat-up Mark and he delivers this downright chilling monologue. He's all like "To me there is no greater pleasure than to feel the warmth of my fists drenched in blood.” Whoa okay then Conquest we get it you're into pain.
He even throws shade at Anissa mentioning how she’d be trying to recruit Mark to the Viltrumite cause. But Conquest? Nope. He says he is not interested in saving Mark or "spreading the greatness of the Viltrum empire." He's just there because he LIKES fighting and hurting people. Talk about a villain with simple pleasures! Mark understandably doesn't take this too well and BAM he punches Conquest sending him flying. This just seems to amuse Conquest setting the stage for what's sure to be an absolutely brutal battle.
Walking Dead Reunion in Invincible? Glenn vs. Negan Round Two (But Way More Punching)
Okay Walking Dead fans this is where things get extra meta and awesome. Conquest voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan is going head-to-head with Mark Grayson aka Invincible voiced by Steven Yeun. Ring any bells? Yep it's Negan vs. Glenn all over again! Except this time instead of a barbed wire bat it's gonna be super-powered punches and Viltrumite strength going at it.
It's a super cool twist for fans of both shows and knowing Invincible the fight is gonna be way more intense and gory than anything we saw on Walking Dead (and that's saying something!). Get ready for a rematch of epic proportions but animated and with superpowers.
