Yup you guessed it... or maybe you didn't! It was James Van Der Beek aka Dawson from Dawson's Creek! The Beek himself was behind the Griffin mask and he just got eliminated after an awesome run on the show. He sang John Denver's "Take Me Home (Country Roads)" for his final performance and honestly he sounded great!
Before he sang Griffin shared a really heartfelt video package. He hinted at some personal challenges saying "Recently we got some news that changed everything. It's been a really tough year." He talked about his family being his "safe space" and how they helped him through everything. It was definitely an emotional moment before the big reveal.
Turns out James was alluding to his recent colorectal cancer diagnosis which is incredibly brave of him to share. He actually also did "The Real Full Monty" on Fox last year to raise awareness for cancer testing. So he's really using his platform for good.

The judges' guesses for Griffin were pretty funny as usual. Robin Thicke thought it was Kyle Chandler. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg went with Chad Michael Murray. Ken Jeong threw out Josh Hartnett's name.
