Alright peaches Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for Season 16 and Porsha Williams is bringing the heat – and the drama! It looks like things are already messy thanks to some questionable moves by Drew Sidora and Porsha's ex Dennis McKinley. Fourth Wall Down! Porsha Loses It Over Drew and Dennis's Cozy Collab
Porsha is not playing nice this season especially when it comes to Drew and Dennis. The drama kicks off because Drew is working with Dennis on music. Yes THAT Dennis. Porsha's ex and baby daddy. And Porsha is not thrilled about it to say the least.
In the latest episode Porsha straight up breaks the fourth wall – twice! She's talking directly to the producers because she is that fed up. First she gets permission from a producer to really let loose about her issues with Drew working with Dennis. Then she confronts Dennis himself and things get heated FAST.
Dennis claims it is all "professional" business strictly music-related. But Porsha is not buying it. She's especially annoyed at the idea of Drew and Dennis filming RHOA scenes together. Dennis seems to think it’s all good for "promotion" but Porsha claps back "Now you're about to piss me off." You can feel the tension through the screen folks.
"Loyalty Where You At?" Porsha Feels Betrayed and Tears Start Flowing
In a confessional Porsha gets real about her feelings. She says she expects nothing from Dennis except him being a good dad to their daughter Pilar. But she draws a line at filming with Drew on RHOA. She wonders why loyalty is so hard to find. It's clear she feels seriously unsupported by people in her circle.
Things escalate and Porsha walks away from Dennis clearly upset and muttering about never getting support. She even tears up talking to a producer about how messed up it is that Dennis could use the show – her platform – against her if they ever had a disagreement. It sounds like she is hurt and feels vulnerable especially given her public divorce from Simon Guobadia.
Later in the episode Porsha and Dennis keep arguing in her car and guess what? They forget they are still hot miked! We get to eavesdrop as Porsha tells Dennis that filming with Drew will be a "problem" and makes her look "insane". Dennis acts surprised asking "You know we hot on the mic?" Porsha's response? "Yeah I’m sure you know. [You're] a pro now with it huh?" Sarcasm level expert.
Shamea Sides with Porsha: "Drew Crossed a Line"
It's not just Porsha who thinks Drew is acting shady. Shamea Morton is firmly on Team Porsha in this drama. Shamea told Us Weekly that Dennis even reached out to her for music and TV projects but she turned him down. Why? Because she knows boundaries.
Shamea explains "Dennis has reached out to do music with me and TV and film projects and I politely declined. I’m not saying that he’s not talented and he’s not able. I’d rather not muddy the water." She gets it. She thinks Drew "absolutely" crossed a line by getting involved with Dennis. For Shamea it's simple "You’re Pilar’s dad. You are Porsha’s ex-fiancé and there are boundaries that you just shouldn’t cross." Preach Shamea preach!
Drew's Defense: "Just Friends" and a Confusing Explanation
Drew on the other hand claims everything is innocent. She says Dennis is her "angel on Earth" helping her through her own divorce from Ralph Pittman. She insists she and Dennis are just good friends and business partners. She even claims Dennis told her Porsha was cool with them working together – which Porsha clearly says is a lie.
Drew denies trying to film RHOA scenes with Dennis behind Porsha's back. But Porsha calls out Drew's "slimy-ass" behavior and accuses her of trying to set up a photoshoot for Porsha's hair brand Go Naked Hair without asking. Drew claims it was just a friendly gesture to promote Porsha’s business. But Porsha sees it as Drew using her for a storyline. It's a classic case of he said she said with a whole lot of shade in between.
