After a year-long break Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) has returned for Season 16 with a fresh vibe some familiar faces and drama that's already bubbling over. If the premiere episode is anything to go by we are in for a wild ride darlings.

Meet the New Peaches: Kelli Brit and Angela Shake Things Up

This season feels different. It's like a modern Atlanta vibe. Forget the old days of just stay-at-home moms and trophy wives. This cast feels younger and more current. Even the strip club scenes with Porsha and Shamea feel natural not awkward like some past RHOA moments. The new blood includes Kelli Ferrell Brit Eady and Angela Oakley and they jump right into the drama.

Kelli Ferrell is introduced at her daughter's over-the-top sweet sixteen party complete with seventeen designer bags as gifts. Wealth? Check. Drama? Double-check. Kelli is dealing with a messy divorce and isn't afraid to stir the pot. She brings up the "Porsha stole someone's husband" rumors right away. Brit Eady on the other hand is a video vixen and insurance agent who gets caught in the middle of the Kenya drama. Angela Oakley is married to basketball legend Charles Oakley and we haven't seen too much of her yet besides a wig slip-up at Shamea’s party – classic Housewives moment!

Kenya Moore Drama: Where's the Peach? Brit Eady Beef Explained

Let's talk about the elephant in the room or rather the missing peach holder Kenya Moore. Kenya is noticeably absent from promotional stuff and has a very reduced role in the premiere. Word on the street is Kenya got demoted maybe even fired after some behind-the-scenes drama with Brit Eady. Apparently it involved some posters and… well let’s just say they were explicit and featured Brit. Brit even hinted at "revenge porn" and legal issues on social media.

Kenya denies doing anything wrong and says she's still under contract with Bravo but the episode shows a different story. She has no solo scenes very few confessionals and basically feels like a "friend of" at best. The premiere hints at tension between Kenya and the newbies especially Brit. Their first interaction is icy with Brit taking offense to Kenya's questions about her ring. It’s awkward and you can tell something is brewing and it is not good tea.

Drew Dennis and More Mess: Old Drama Never Dies

Drew Sidora is still around somehow making her the only full-time Housewife from last season besides Kenya. Her life is still well… Drew. She is still arguing with Ralph who is now banished to the basement according to divorce court and she's still running questionable businesses. And guess who is back in Drew's orbit? Dennis McKinley Porsha's ex!

Porsha's Back and Ready to Rumble: Confrontations Begin

Porsha arrives late to Shamea's birthday bash making a grand entrance during Shamea's Rolls Royce reveal. Drama? Yes. Porsha is immediately on the defensive knowing Kelli has been talking about her. At Shamea’s party the confrontations start. Kelli straight up asks Porsha about "stealing" Falynn’s husband. Porsha’s response? “Wait what is your name again?” Shade officially thrown.

Then Shamea jumps in questioning Drew about not getting a birthday party invite and then Porsha hits Drew with the big question: "Are you dating Dennis now?" The episode ends on that cliffhanger leaving us wanting more and ready for the drama to unfold. Welcome back RHOA it's gonna be a good season!
