Looks like real-world events are taking center stage on TV for a bit but don't worry your favorite dramas will be back to their usual crime-fighting antics soon enough.

Okay so we have to wait a week but what can we expect when The Rookie Season 7 Episode 9 finally arrives? Episode 9 "The Kiss" sounds like it is going to be packed with drama and maybe some danger for our favorite cops. Here is what we know from the official teasers:
- Case of the Week: The LAPD Mid-Wilshire team will be on the hunt for a suspect in a case that sounds like it will hit close to home affecting one of their own. Uh oh that never sounds good!
- Celina's Solo Debut (Sort Of): Celina Juarez is officially flying solo on her first case as a full-fledged police officer. But in a fun twist she is not totally alone.
- Bailey to the Rescue (Again!): Celina recruits none other than Nolan's wife Bailey to help her out with her first solo investigation. It looks like we will see some cool Celina/Bailey team-up action which should be interesting.
- Nolan's Marital Mayhem: Of course things are never smooth sailing for Nolan and Bailey. They are still dealing with their ongoing disagreements about having kids and the whole threat from Bailey's abusive ex Jason Wyler is still hanging over them. Drama alert!
With all of that going on Episode 9 sounds like it will be another intense and must-watch installment of The Rookie. The wait will be worth it!
