Okay White Lotus obsessives Episode 4 'Hide and Seek' just landed and woah things are getting seriously spicy in Thailand! Secrets are spilling tensions are rising and did someone say missing gun? Yep buckle up because this episode was a wild ride and we are here to break it all down in our super informal chat about who's killing it who might get killed and all the juicy bits in between.
Boat Trip Mayhem: Ratliffs and Riches on the High Seas (and It Goes Exactly as Expected)
So the episode kicks off with everyone kinda doing their own thing but then BAM boat trip! The Ratliff crew somehow ends up sharing a yacht with Rick and Chelsea and let's just say 'awkward' doesn't even begin to cover it. Victoria is already on edge convinced everyone is trash and ready to steal her purse (and her precious pills). Honestly you almost feel bad for her... almost.
Timothy bless his heart is having a full-on meltdown fueled by Victoria's "little helpers" (aka Lorazepam). He's wandering around practically naked scaring everyone and just generally proving he's not coping well. Dude is having a brat summer way too late in life. Turns out his legal troubles are way worse than he thought and prison time is looking very real. No wonder he's reaching for the pills and maybe a quick escape from reality.
Meanwhile Saxon and Lochlan are just... there. Saxon is still being Gaston-like just flexing his muscles and telling Lochlan to drink more protein. Piper bless her soul wants to announce her big life plan to move to Thailand for a year but Lochlan bails on her to go flirt with some older women on the boat thanks to his brother's terrible advice. These kids are seriously testing our patience are they ever going to get interesting?
Rick and Chelsea: Honesty Bombs and a Trip to Bangkok (Without Her!)
Chelsea bless her cotton socks is still trying to make things work with grumpy Rick. She corners him on the boat and demands some honesty and finally Rick spills the tea. Turns out he is in Thailand to get revenge on Sritala's husband Jim because he thinks Jim murdered his dad! Dramatic much? Chelsea actually takes this pretty well which is surprising. Though honestly the whole "my dad was a saint in Thailand" story from Rick sounds a bit sus. Is he even telling Chelsea the whole truth?
The most touching moment though? When Amrita the hotel's "stress manager" tries one last time to get through to Rick. She tells him he's touched her heart and that he can escape his "karmic cycle". Walton Goggins is killing it in these small moments and you almost believe Amrita might be getting through to him just a little bit. But is it enough to stop his revenge plan and that solo trip to Bangkok?
Belinda and Greg-Gary: Google Stalking and Growing Fears
Greg-Gary mostly lurks in the background of the boat scene letting chaos unfold around him. But the episode ends with him back in his dark mansion doing some late-night Googling. Who's he searching for? Belinda of course. He is clearly sussing her out and now that Belinda has also figured out Greg-Gary's connection to Tanya's mysterious death thanks to a little online research things are feeling seriously dangerous for Belinda. We are officially worried about her safety especially with Greg-Gary lurking in the shadows.
Gaitok's Epic Fail and That Missing Gun: Seriously Dude?
Oh Gaitok. Sweet but seriously clueless Gaitok. His boss Fabian is trying to whip him into shape after the robbery telling him security is more than just waving hello. Their solution? Give Gaitok a gun. Yeah that seems smart. Except Gaitok being Gaitok can't even manage to keep track of a loaded weapon. He leaves it unattended on his desk while he's busy mooning over Mook and guess what? It goes missing! Seriously Gaitok you had one job! He may be a nice guy but security is SO not his calling. We are calling it now Gaitok is doomed.
Victory Lap Blondes Unraveling and Valentin's Shady Games
Jaclyn Kate and Laurie aka the victory lap blondes are officially cracking under pressure. Their fake friendship is crumbling and even breakfast is turning into a snark-fest. Jaclyn desperate for some fun drags them away from the resort with Valentin in tow. Valentin being Valentin sends them to a resort for retirees. Was it a prank? Was he annoyed at being treated like their "butler"? Who knows but it was definitely not the "fun" Jaclyn was craving.
Chloe's Full Moon Party and Ominous Vibes
Chloe manages to snag Greg-Gary's yacht for a full moon party and invites Saxon and Lochlan along. Chelsea even joins in ditching Rick's Bangkok trip. The full moon party has been teased all episode but we don't actually see it which feels like a bit of a letdown. But with a missing gun a despondent Timothy and Greg-Gary lurking in the shadows we have a feeling things are going to get very dark very soon.

Episode 4 Verdict: Slow Burn Tension and a Gun in Play - Things Are About to Explode
Episode 4 definitely felt like the slow burn before the explosion. While some storylines are still kinda dragging (looking at you Ratliff kids) the tension is definitely building. That missing gun is a major Chekhov's Gun moment and we have a feeling it's going to go off in a big way. Belinda is in danger Timothy is spiraling and Rick is on a collision course with Greg-Gary.
